David Selex is the owner and creative force behind Father Rabbit & Co.
Throughout his professional life in the kitchen, David has evolved from a boy that baked bread after school to head chef of acclaimed restaurants (The Mews of Mayfair and The Sugar Club) in the United Kingdom.
David was born in Melbourne, and has lived, travelled, and worked internationally for 15 years. Throughout his 20+ year career, he has passed through some of the most renowned kitchens around the globe, including Melbourne's Florentino and Bacash, and London's Nobu, Vong, Kensington Place, The Mews of Mayfair, The Sugar Club, The Grocer on Elgin and Wahaca. He has also written pieces for magazine editorials and made appearances on the BBC (including Master Chef).
David's inspiration comes from great produce, teamwork and the love of preparing beautiful food for family, friends and clients alike. He regularly visits the wholesale markets to source fine products from proud local farmers and suppliers.
David also brings years of experience to his menus, using selected, fine products and flavours from around the globe.
